Foods 9 - French Toast with Banana
The Foods 9 class had a very successful first run at cooking. Student, within their group, cooked up some french toast using eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Students pan-fried the french toast and then added bananas and syrup before eating.
The assignments consisted of learning how to read a recipe, how to set a table and what parts of a kitchen are used for certain functions.

what is Foods 9?
Are you interested in exploring the culinary world? In this course you will learn basic kitchen safety that you can use in your own house or in the culinary industry. There will have be a wide variety of things we cook but there will be some knowledge, theory, and research involved as well. Students will learn about both budgeting and meal planning at home, cooking in the culinary industry, as well as nutrition. As well as nutrition. All students must pass a safety test before being able to cook delicious food. After taking this course, students will be more confident after taking this course, students will be more confident in their ability to cook meals for families, apply for jobs in restaurants, and follow a variety recipes.
